| Choosing a Class The age recommendations outlined for Kindermusik classes have been carefully constructed to best group children in an age and developmentally appropriate way. Therefore, it is important that your child be at least the minimum age by the start of the semester for the class in which you are enrolling. If you have concerns about your child’s success in a particular age range, we are happy to discuss your child’s needs and work with you to place him in the class best suited for him. Registering Early Although you may join our classes at any time, please register early since class sizes are limited and may fill quickly. Registering early also ensures that we will have your child’s materials for you at your first class. If you enroll after the semester begins, we can offer makeup classes or pro-rate tuition. Enrollment Confirmation A registration form and payment must be received before enrollment can be confirmed. If we cannot accommodate your request, we will place you on a waiting list or offer a full refund. You will receive a phone call, email or mailed notice within two weeks to confirm your registration. Refunds Tuition refunds or credit vouchers may be given if there are extenuating circumstances requiring withdrawal from class. All refund requests will be considered on an individual basis. The cost of materials and a $10 processing fee is non-refundable. Make-up Classes We are happy to allow students who miss a class to make up that class. Simply call in advance to schedule make-ups. Non-enrolled Siblings Due to limited class sizes and the delicacy of the younger class settings, Village (classes for newborn to 1.5 years) and Our Time classes (for 1.5 to 3 years) can only accommodate non-enrolled siblings when the sibling is young enough to stay contented in a car carrier or stroller. However, emergency situations are considered, so please call if we can help. Siblings eligible to be in the same class should both be enrolled. Making the Most of Kindermusik Classes Plan to arrive about 5-10 minutes early for class. We request that toys, juice cups and snacks be finished prior to class. Nursing, bottles in Village classes and water are fine. During class, the most important thing you can do for your child is to be an active and patient role model. It is not uncommon for a child to attend several classes before feeling comfortable in class. What a child is absorbing is often evidenced in the comfort of the home environment. By the way, I LOVE for parents to visit before and after class, but not during, please! When you are an active, focused, enthusiastic participant in class activities, your child will model your actions and focus more fully too. |
