Sarah Orfe is a licensed Kindermusik instructor who enthusiastically brings her love of children and music to her classes.   She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Her musical training includes more than a decade of flute and piano study, eight years at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp as well as a summer in Bavaria with the Blue Lake Orchestra. She spent three summers teaching children’s music and drama with the Summer Institute for the Gifted and a season touring, performing and providing classroom music instruction with Creative Children’s Theatre of Princeton, NJ. Sarah knows first hand that Kindermusik offers quality musical experiences for children to enjoy with their families while providing a foundation for future leaning in all areas of development. She is the proud mother of two wonderful Kindermusik kids: Mason 5 and Hudson 2 1/2.
Ellie Doud's love for music began at a young age. Starting piano lessons at age 4 and continuing for 15 years, Ellie developed a strong foundation in music and also a desire to teach. She has a degree in Elementary Education and also completed the piano pedagogy program at Taylor University. She has taught private piano lessons to both children and adults. Based on personal experience, Ellie knows the value of early childhood music education. This conviction only grew stronger when she enrolled her infant son in a Kindermusk class. As she watched him light up with smiles each time music was heard in class, she became convinced that more children and parents should experience music together. She is thrilled to join the teaching team at Kindermusic with Sarah Orfe as a licensed Kindermusik educator. Ellie hopes that her love of music and her masterful teaching skills will bring the magic of music to many families in the Los Angeles area.
